A viral video has been making rounds on the internet, featuring a distraught lady who waa crying over contracting HIV after engaging in a mere 10 minutes of unprotected sex.
In her account, she was feeling vulnerable at that moment and allowed the man to have sex with her without using protection. To her shock, she later found out that the man was a carrier of HIV and had not disclosed his status to her.
The lady is heard saying, “if you know you are sexually active and you have an STD, you need to inform people of that because when you don’t, and you infect that person, you are changing their life forever and they are making decisions that they do not know.”
“I am embarrassed and humiliated, and I feel so stupid for letting someone take advantage of me in a moment of weakness. However, I want to make it clear that I did not consent to this, and I am going to seek justice for myself,” she added.
