Popular comedian, Chinedu Bennett known by his showbiz name as Acapella has tackled media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, regarding his remarks on religion and wealth.
A report detailing how China produced a billionaire every five days in 2016 was shared by Daddy Freeze and he also praised the nation for producing billionaires in spite of not being a religious nation.
Acapella continued by saying that since the Chinese also have their beliefs, he should let people keep praying.
In his response to the comedian, Daddy Freeze noted that he doesn’t pray for destiny helpers and doesn’t preach a gospel that produces billionaires.
He continued by saying that, unlike 90% of Nigerian preachers, he is not an apostle of prosperity.
Acapella wrote;
Lolz baba but you wey no dey set up alter normally, how many billion you don make? Intentional government policies is what makes a people rich… In Nigeria there’s hardly a legit billionaire bcos f one or two… Allow people pray if they want to… The Chinese also have their beliefs. Selah
Daddy Freeze replied;
my dear brother. I never claim to preach a gospel that creates wealth let alone billionaires. I preach the scriptures as they are not as you would want them to be. I don’t pray for destiny helpers neither do I claim to be an apostle of prosperity like 90 percent of your pastors. I hereby challenge you to list 10 things our plenty prayers have done for us in this country. I’m waiting…
